Akamaru Jump Dump S091 - Reborn! & Akazukin

Starting now, I will have weekly Manga reviews. Each Friday basically. They will consist of Reborn!, Psyren, The World God Only Knows, Fairy Tail and possibly new series I pick up. Let's begin.



The new poster for the TYL! Arcobaleno came out. Below in the red box in the bottom, left hand corner is saying an episode will be dedicated to them in the anime which will air July 18. Now, I-Pin's Master, the Storm Arcobaleno, is called "Phon/Fon." His animal is a Monkey. Uni's Ancestor is called "Ruche." She has a Squirrel as her animal. Verde's animal, I thought was a snake at first, is actually a rat.



Akazukin Eliza was a good One-Shot. Started with her and her grandma beating up boys. Then her mom sends her to deliver food to her grandma, on her way she meets a boy in Wolf's clothing. His "pet" attacks her and she kicks it. Then they walk together and she goes to bath in a lake while he sleeps. While she does it, his "pet" eats her clothes and she's naked.

He leaves with his pet to get it out of him and she waits at the lake, then decides to go after him and puts on a vine around her chest and her bandana over he pelvis. Running after him. There, she meets him and jumps into his pet who eats her. She splits it in two and gets her clothes back with her grandma appearing behind her. That's basically how it ends, but with her grandma getting new clothing and Eliza and the boy blush and laugh at each other. With something special at the end~


Psyren Bangai, heh. They're at the Amusement park, love Frederica torturing Marie. Poor Marie though... yeah. Last bangai was Ageha & Amamiya go to the movies, I don't remember the first Bangai though, sadly... oh well.
Now, Fairy Tail got a early release, so here it is.

Starts with them getting to know each other. Wendy is so cute and how she acts like a child. So, they are shown the people they are going up against and their ride to them. They all leave except two, the Peagusus Aniki (forgot name) is remaining there and is actually clones of Angel (I beleive that's correct, says "Enjieru"). The Aniki is beaten up in the bathroom and Angel causes pain to the guard. What will come next?

BASQUASH! 5

Good episode, but started out fast. Showed scenes with Dan talking with his friends, each scene was with one of them. Haruka was talking with employers and a team to go against him. Haruka took Dan's, Sela's & Iceman's Bigfoots to get them prepared. Flora escapes her castle and shows her sister, plotting something...

Flora meets with Coco and is offered bread. Dan meets up with Coco later on and she quickly leaves. At the game, his Bigfoot is improved and they duke it out. Flora is caught in the mess and watches with Coco. Haruka and some employers watch from their building, learning that the target is the statue on top. Dan throws the ball and knocks it off, yelling "BASQUASH!" and ends with a new person appearing from the Moon, watching the game. Really good episode, loved Flora getting more scenes.

Asura Cryin' 2

Good episode. Went fast again, they talked and learned more about the new girl. Her father then came and talked with her, then the next day, Tomo is called to the office. There he is met by the Dark Society Leader, who then askes him to join him. Tomo rejects with guards coming in, and him putting up a gun to Tomo. Then Kanda breaks in, rescuing him with the leader summoning his Machina, which then attacks them and what lies in store...? Yeah, like I said, fast but still good.

Saki 4

Good episode. Stats with Saki & Nodoka meeting then heading to school. There, they are told about the qualifiers for the Mahjong Tournament. Then they go to help Mako at her family's Cafe. There they help out as maids, and then meet a pro Mahjong player. They play and learn a backstory of what happened at last year's Qualifiers. Then they decide to get better at a Mahjong Camp.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! 130

Good episode. Starts with Tsuna talking to Irie. Then moves to Hibari VS Genkishi. Genkishi changes the room where tentacles appear and go for Hibari. Gokudera uses his Sistema C.A.I. to protect him, then a flash back of Dino and how to light a flame. Chrome yells for Hibari to watch out and he evades it, then uses a box with a lot of flames. What becomes of it..?

Gokujou!! Mecha Mote Iinchou 4

Good episode. Mimi helps out a friend that has a crush on a boy. They then go out on a date after the teaching and learning scenes. It's starting to become a "How to be a girl." sort-of anime, still, which is nice. Ends with the two telling each other they love each other, and a new girl comes into play for Mimi.

BASQUASH! 4

New OP which was nice. Showed Eclipse dancing and singing to the OP. So, Haruka decided to gather people for a game. Then fixed up the Bigfoots with new shoes. Plus, a scene with cat girls as well. Oh, and Flora wanted to go see the game but her butler wouldn't let her. So, the game went down nice. Dan ricocheted the ball at Iceman and knocked him down, then Flora wanted to go see the game herself, ending the episode. Looks like someone new is about to appear.

K-On! 3

Good episode. Yui failed her test so she needs to study for the retake. Sadly, she can't concentrate and get's Mio to help so the band doesn't get disbanded. Since, if you fail a test all club activities are off limits. So, they study at Yui's house and are shocked as her little sister, Ui, is mature. Then they study with moments of comedy at random times. Ends with Yui aceing her test, good job. Next episode, the beach.

Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo 16

Nice episode, looks like we get a new villain. Plus, they found their old colony and started to go back in there when a storm started to brew. Good episode. New ED was nice as well, a sad tone but very nice.

Saki 3

Well, good episode. Looks like they're going to the qualifiers in Episode 5, which is nice. Looks like Saki's sister is a Mahjong "God" too. Which was nice, got to know them and Nodoka more as well. With comedy at random points. Next episode is fan-service it looks like.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! 129

Good episode. Tsuna uses his X-Burner on Iris & Ginger Bread. Mostly focused on that, but a few scenes of Chrome, I-Pin, Lambo & Kusakabe looking for Ryohei & Gokudera. Which was nice to see them again~ Now, next episode will show Hibari VS Genkishi.

Gokujou!! Mecha Mote Iinchou 3

Another good episode. Strangely, I think it is trying to teach you how to be a girl, which is good for me. So, she had to go help a girl is was secluded in her room. They worked out and cleaned themselves, which was nice. Sadly, didn't see the part after but got back to where it ended. The girl came back to school and started back again, which is nice~ Looks like she'll be a "best friend" of sorts.

BASQUASH! 3

Nice episode, and my favorite character besides Citron appeared, Flora. Plus, she's a princess and if memory doesn't serve me wrong, she is voiced by Rie Kugimiya from hearing it. Nice~ So, started where we left off but with Flora driving by and wondering what it is. Soon, they all leave with Sela meeting up with Iceman. They chatted and departed.

Then they devised a plan to catch Iceman. It worked and they played ball. Flora watched it from afar on top of her roof, very interested. So, they ran through the city seeing whoever got the ball first. They then got to an intersection and fought for the ball there. Then the game ended with them all worn out and the police coming. They left, then the next day is greeted by Haruka Grace. Who will help them out.

Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo 15

New opening was very nice. So, started out nicely. They were all preparing to leave and talked a bit. So, once they left, they went back into space and found Xanthippe with Nerval. There, they confront Nami and try to get her to come to their side but all of it fails. Nice episode~ No new ED, sadly.

Saki 2

A very good episode. The ED was nice now that I got to see it. Started where the 1st episode left off, with the results. Plus, Nodoka ran off after with Saki chasing her. They talked and Nodoka was sad because she lost to someone who dislikes Mahjong. Sad...

So, they have a rematch with Saki thinking she had 1000 points and everyone else having 33000. But really, they all had 25000 equally. So, Saki got Plus-Minus Zero in her mind, but in reality, actually won. So, she talked with her dad as she looked at her family's Mahjong table. So, at the end, she joined the club to prove she likes Mahjong. Really nice episode~

Metal Fight Beyblade 2

Good episode. Introducing Madoka, which was nice, since she's my favorite. Now, she works at B-Rip (IIRC). She fixes Beyblade's with her dad, and ran into Ginga & Kenta at a Beyblade shop. She wanted to help them, and she has a laptop that's similar to a DS. A nice touch, so she fixed Ginga's Beyblade, or was in the middle.

So, the gang's leader Kyoya wants to battle Ginga again. So, he sends a few members to take Kenta's Beyblade, again. So he goes to tell Ginga, who goes to get it back but his Beyblade was still being worked on. They meet up on a Space Needle-like building. So, the two battle but Kyoya used the winds to deflect the Ginga's Beyblade. So, he used the currents to strike Kyoya's Beyblade and win. Was a good episode.

K-On! 2

Very good episode. Yui got to get a new guitar for the band~ Which was nice. Started with a random conversation, with them introducing the characters, again but more detailed. So that was a nice touch, then they went to look at guitars. Yui needed money after learning it was exspensive, so, they had to find a job.

They got a job at some place (I don't know exactly what it is, but they count how many cars pass by). Sounds easy, but some kept getting distracted with things. So, ended meh but got their paychecks. So, now they went to get Yui's guitar and she got it. Strangely, after getting it, she slept with it~ Overall, very nice.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! 128

Really good episode. Genkishi struck Hibari hard, then went to Tsuna VS Iris. Got some flashback and Tsuna using X-Stream. Very good. Also, talk about where Chrome, Lambo & I-Pin went. Now, the Completed X-Burner is next.

Gokujou!! Mecha Mote Iinchou 2

Well, was to get the girl to talk to a boy she likes. Nice episode, ended strangely though. Liked those scenes up above though, really nice~ So, that's all I got to say. But, ended strangely because of how the two fought... oh well.

BASQUASH! 2

I found this episode to go fast at the start, but ended nicely. First, the new OP is lovely. Sadly, was just random scenes from the episode. But there is going to be a new one soon from what I hear, as it wasn't done yet. So, started fast like I said.

The episode told basically showed what happened to Coco, fully. Sad but was a good touch. There was also a bath scene which was nice as well. Dan also kept getting fines for damaging the city, so he had to pay it off with something. So, he started a delivery company. Then, at the end, Sela came and was also delivering. Dan got angry and followed her, then they end up at the court. She talks to him and suddenly, someone in a Bigfoot appeared with strange balls. Also, earlier, Ice Man had a scene at the beginning, so I think it's him. Now, Dan runs toward him where the mysterious person throws another ball.

Tayutama -Kiss on my Deity- 1

Seriously, a series I waited for a long time to come, started out really bad. I got really, really, bored, fast. But, get very, very great toward the middle. The OP/ED didn't appear, except a snippet of it at the end. So, like I said, bland. But got better, they went to the shrine where a spirit called Tayutayu lives, and her spirits known as Tayutai, and their so cute.

So, Mito started to do a summoning on the shrine, which Tayutayu appeared. Then got angry and Mito told his friend, Ameri, to start the bike (it's a mo-ped but they said bike... dear god) and she did. Soon, it ran into the shrine and broke it in half. Soon, Mashiro appeared out of it, in her spiritual form. Soon, took out a hammer and started to attack the Tayutai, as they are now real, so she can tame them. Soon, they all get in a "military line" and she commands them to obey her. Then she faints.

She's brought back to Mito's house and they are told about the shrine by his grand father. Then, they all go to sleep except Mito, who waits for Mashiro to wake up. She does and calls him her father. Also, note this, she's really, really small. I thought she would be a bit larger from the pics, PVs and that order scene. So, she goes to sleep in his lap and he lays in her the guest room. When they wake up and go check on her, she's naked and stretches in front of them. So cute~ Then Ameri beats Mito and Mashiro gets into her new school uniform. Now, the adventure begins!~

Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S 1

Long title... OP/ED, nice. Episode... hm, it's the prequel apparently. Looks like I can start this and watch the other half. So, the series just told about how the main character was born. With few action scenes. Apparently, instruments emits some sort of keyboard thing that does certain things. Interesting... but yeah, good episode.

Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo 14

Well, this was nice. No new OP/ED though, so either next or 16, since single releases a day after 16 airs. But, the episode was nice. They were told about how they knew each other. With the ICP girls returning to the station, reporting that Itsuki died, but she didn't. So the boss took them out for Pizza, at Pizza Hut. Dear god... Sunrise needs to stop advertising Pizza Hut in their anime, even if it is good publicity.

So, after that. Baba or w/e... forgot her name, came with Xanthippe and attacked where the girls were. With Nerval coming again and taking over Akiha, she needs to stop getting taken over. So, after that, they were told the QT reacted to the plants that emerged, they appeared when Nerval did. Then, Akiha goes into dream land. She learns that the person in her dreams, also known as Aleida, is herself from 50 years ago. Soon, Honoka comes in and leaves with her, and everyone else in the room. Akiha follows with a war waging outside, above in space. Then Baba and Xanthippe appear before them after Akiha wakes up. Nice episode.

Saki 1

So, when watching the trailer, thought it would be magical Mahjong pieces, since that's what it's about. Learning about Mahjong, and it looks fun, with multiple people and it's competitive. Unlike that computer one... boo. So, the main character "Saki" has an ability to get Minus-Plus-Zero every time... it's impossible for a lot of people, except her. I liked it a lot. The ED was nice, can't wait to see the OP (well, OP played as ED I believe, so yeah).

Metal Fight Beyblade 1

Oh dear god, I watched it... and I didn't explode. The character designs... they were bad. Except Madoko's and that crazy guy in that asylum suit, those two are fine. Madoko is my favorite. <3 The opening is here & ending is here. I like the ED, but more depressing than the original song (it's a remixed one). Thought it would be a more hyped up one.

So, started with a kid who kept winning battles, original. Then runs into someone tough, but get's saved by Ganga. They talk and depart, with the kid coming back to look for him. Ganga was taking to the tough person's gang who has about 200 members shooting beyblades at him. Ganga uses "Storm Pegasus" to wipe them all out. Overpowered much... then the gang's leader is impressed because theirs apparently "Stellar Beyblades", based off of constellations. Kyoya is his name and he owns the Leo. Now they're going to fight with Modoka appearing (YAY~).

Well, the new OP is really great. The ED is nice but more childish. The episode was great. Genkishi and Hibari fought it out, with it going to Tsuna VS Iris. The battle went smoothly and back to Genkishi & Hibari. With Genkishi owning Hibari.

Soon, Hibird arrives and sings Namimori's theme. Then it lands on Younger Hibari's hand, upset about someone waking him from his slumber. Next episode looks nice.

K-On! 1

Oh, how I love this series from the start. First, OP/ED are like, the best. ED is great. OP, you can search for. Called "Cagayake! GIRLS" and I love how Yui goes "No, no, no!" as a chorus. Very good. So, first, started with Yui waking up late. Then running off to her new school and enjoying it, typical plot. Then goes to K-On! looking for members (Only Mio and Ritsu are there).

Now, before seeing the episode, I looked at the OP/ED. My first thoughts were Mio was the main character from ED, or a Rival for Yui from the OP. Ritsu was quiet and did comedy like that one girl from Hyakko! (need to finish that...).

And Tsumugi was just plain quiet and caring. Was wrong, except correct mostly. Yui, main character, Mio, shy girl. Ritsu, blurting out and comedy effect (correct). Tsumugi, talkative and caring (correct). So yeah, ended with them all forming K-On! and finishing it the "club".

Gokujou!! Mecha Mote Iinchou 1

Ok, seeing the name first sounds like it's about robots and Sci-Fi, it's not. That's what I first though too, until I remembered the true meaning. It's about a new girl, going to a new school, and becoming the new Class President. Yes, was very interesting and a typical Shoujo-Anime. Which I like, sort-of like Shugo Chara! but without the Guardians.

Oh, the heroine has a pet hamster called Mimi, so kawaii~ But went very smoothly. I liked it, until that Sasagi person came in. She looks like a doll, and I want to kill her. But yeah, then the council is met and a fight starts between Sasagi and Princess (IDK, it said she was Hime, don't know if that was her name, or that she really was a princess). But yeah, good series. OP/ED was nice, liked the ED a lot. No current favorite character, yet.

BASQUASH! 1

So, created by the creator of Code Lyoko... and forgot the other person. So, it's about Basketball and Robots, that you play in. Was very good IMO, no OP though, ED is very good, and loved the "moon passport" insert. I love the trio group girls, and Flora. Those four are my favorite out of the series. Plus, a flashback of old friends and such. I found it nice to see that and know what happened.

One bad side though, Miyuki's chest... dear god, did they have to make it flop around everywhere? Was very irritating... but very good still. Ended with Dan going to jail because hes a thief (and main character). After he is let out though (it shows it), his uncle (?) it waiting for him and behind him, are kids in Bigfoots (Oh dear god, such an original name, those are the robots) playing Basketball, saying he created a new way of playing it.

Since, earlier, the games... were really, really (word) suck-ish... not my word. But seriously, they couldn't pick up the god damn ball. Thank you god, Dan.

Asura Cryin' 1

The first episode went fast in my opinion, although, might have went that fast in the Light Novels too. Seems like it's going to be a 26-episode, or 24, series. So, started off with curiosity. Then, went to get to know the characters with people breaking in at random points. Was strange and nice. Then told about the group "Mafia" or "Dark Society", possibly Solitary, sounded like an 'L' in there. Then Touma (a very overused character name) opened the box he got earlier.

Like mentioned above, found it quite quick but good. The opening was nice, with scenes and lyrics, and sound. The ending was meh, it sounded like a very sad tune. Still, the scenes were nice. Overall, a good episode. Still going to watch it.

Koihime Musou OVA

First blog post before starting the Spring Season, for whoever reads this, welcome. The episode was very nice in my opinion. Started fresh with getting to get back in touch with the characters. Which was good, then started a "plot" to the episode. Aisha and Chouhi get in a fight, which they are going to settle in the Sports Festival.

The Sports Festival is a tournament, kind of. The first was a Three-Legged Race. Second was to find a certain object. Third was a butt bashing one. Fourth was a Chicken game and finally, a swimming relay. All of the events were good with comic effect. There were intermissions of people appearing and disappearing too. Sadly, first post is bleh, next should be interesting.
